Time Management Tip

Know your ABC's

Time management has been defined as life management.  Spending your time in the most important things. What is important, is largely up to you. depending on your cycle of life and your cycle of the months, your priorities may change, but one thing is for sure: There are some things that are more important than others. The simplest way to make sure you are investing your time on the right things is to categorize your tasks and activities by A, B and C. A's are the "Must do's," B's are the "Need to's" and C's are the if "I get a chance to's." Then prioritize each item by order of importance within it's category: A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, B3, C1, C2 etc. And from there, work on the most important task (A1) and go from there.  Always work in order and never, ever, work on a lower priority task when there is a higher priority that is not completed.

It's all about Enthusiasm!

It doesn't matter how much you learn all the closing techniques and all the "tricks" in the world to make more sales, but nothing comes even close to basis, foundation, and core of sales: ENTHUSIASM!

You can be the worst dressed person, have the worst product, the worst market, yet you can succeed if you have ENTHUSIASM!

Sales has been described as the transfer of confidence. Others have described it as the connection between need and availability. I describe it (along with others) as the transfer of ENTHUSIASM!

ENTHUSIASM! comes form loving what you do, loving what you sell, loving yourself and loving life.

Nothing big or outstanding was ever accomplished without ENTHUSIASM!  So check yours today.  If it's not at it's highest, find out why and correct it.  When you have the ENTHUSIASM! you will soar.

Success, what is it?

As the basis for the title of this website, the word SUCCESS can mean many things.  Different people define success based on their own definition which is based on their perceptions, their experiences, their environment, their goals and dreams and their personalities.

There is no single definition for the word success. But what is really important is what it means to you.  How do you define it? How do you measure it? How do you embrace it? How do you know when you have achieved it? And what do you do after you get there?

What is really important in this whole "success" thing is that it matters to you and no one else.  You see, sometimes we spend our lives trying to please others. we strive to achieve what may be considered success in other people's eyes, but not necessarily in our own.

Take a step back and make sure that the ladder of success that you are climbing is leaning against the right wall.

Where do you see yourself?

The future is here. Today is what we thought of as "the future" just one, three, or five years ago. And where you are today is largely determined by where you saw yourself today back then.  Does that sound a little confusing?

The future is coming. And where and who you will be in five, ten or twenty years is largely determined by where you see yourself then today. Even more confusing? Our mind works in mysterious ways, but it has been proven that the law of attraction works.

So think about it.  Where do you see yourself in five years? Who will be your friends? What activities will you be involved in? What will your personal life look like? What will your business or work life look like? Where will you live?

Even though we all know that life sometimes takes us in directions that we never expected, for the most part, it takes us in the direction that we direct it.  So go ahead, design your future life. You can. And then, take action to make those plans come true.
